  • I have a specialized software program for my business, can you work with it?

    Yes. Because we work with so many different processors we can virtually guarantee we can work with your software. If your software is not widely used it may result in having less processor bid on your account.
  • What do I need to do to get a bid?

    Fax or email us all the pages of your current merchant processing statement and we will provide you with the top 2 bids within 24 hours. Remember sometimes the statements are 2 sided and we need both sides of every page. Please attach a cover sheet you’re your contact information and please put it to the attention of our Sales Department. Our fax number is 775-201-0283.
  • What are my rates?

    Your sales representative will go over the rates and fees associated with the top 2 bids on your account. In general you rates and fees will be affected by your monthly credit card sales and the industry you work in.
  • Do I have to buy a new credit card terminal?

    No. We can reprogram every terminal. If you have an older terminal it may be in your best interest to upgrade to a PCI compliant terminal, which has higher security standards.
  • Is there an annual fee?

    Yes. Each processor charges an annual fee ranging between $79 and $149.
  • What is my monthly statement fee?

    Industry standard is between $5-10 for a statement fee. Some processors offer a reduced fee for an electronic statement.
  • Can I view my statements online?

    Yes. Each processor has a secure login so you can view your statement in real time. Each processor charges a fee for this service that ranges between $10-15 per month.
  • How long does it take to get my funds deposited into my bank account?

    It typically takes 2-3 business days. If next-day funding is important to you, let your sales representative know as there are some processors that have this option.
  • Can you deposit into any bank account?

    Yes, as long as it a bank located in the United States.
  • My business is opening soon, how long does it take to get an account set up?

    Once we receive the application we can have you approved within 1-2 days. Overnight shipping charges would apply to get a credit card terminal to you.
  • How quickly can I get set-up?

    If you apply before noon Pacific time Monday-Friday, in most cases we can have you up and running the next business day.
  • How can Leap Payments offer the lowest rates?

  • I can’t figure out my current statement with my credit card processor, can you help?

    Certainly, we gladly share our expertise to help business owners, accountants and bookkeepers figure out the true costs of accepting credit and debit cards. Even if you’re not quite ready to switch your account, we can provide a free statement analysis. If we don’t earn your business today, you’ll learn what to ask and how to analyze your statement. Then when you’re ready to switch we’ll be here for you.
  • How quickly do I see the funds in my account?

    Typically 2-3 business days, but we also offer next day funding for nominal monthly fee, so you can get paid faster.
  • Can I accept Discover and American Express in addition to MasterCard and Visa cards?

    Absolutely, we offer Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express all on a single statement, so you see all your card activity in one place.
  • Can I use my existing credit card machine?

    Yes, in most cases we can re-program your existing equipment, as long as it’s compliant with the current Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards. Some older equipment is not in compliance which could put you at risk, so we offer great deals on the latest equipment if we can’t re-program your device.
  • Do you offer training for new merchants?

    Yes, whether you’ve been processing for years or just starting out, we’ll make sure that you’re fully trained on how to use the equipment and we’re available 24/7 to answer your questions.
